A few things, made clear.
What’s the difference between BYOK and Pro?
BYOK unlocks Aer’s AI features for $20/year; you provide the API key and pay the provider separately. Pro is $19.90/month with Personal Agent, managed AI and a proposed monthly usage allowance.
Why use credit instead of a fixed token count?
Input, cached input and output have different prices. At the reference rates, $10 covers about 556,000 tokens with 80% input and 20% output, without caching. Longer answers or reasoning use the budget faster.
What happens when the credit runs out?
The proposed plan pauses managed AI at the monthly limit, with no automatic overage charge. Credit would reset each billing month without rollover. These terms will be finalized before subscriptions open.
Is this a ChatGPT subscription?
No. Aer Pro is an Aer membership. GPT-6 Astra API prices are used here as a cost benchmark; this does not include a ChatGPT subscription. Available models will be confirmed at launch.
Can I subscribe now?
Not yet. Aer is in developer preview. Prices describe the planned packages; payment and public downloads are not yet available.
